Slotted Angle Mezzanine
A second level, without the structural steel price tag.
Slotted Angle Mezzanine
Not every mezzanine needs to carry pallet loads. A slotted angle mezzanine combines shelving and a raised walkway into one lighter, more economical structure, up fast, and easy to change later.
It is the right call for hand-loaded storage where you want a second level quickly, without paying for load capacity you will never actually use.

Why choose this system.
Shelving and floor structure in a single build
The most budget-friendly way to add a second level
Goes up faster than a full structural mezzanine
Reconfigures as easily as the shelving underneath it
Built to your requirement.

Typical applications
The engineering behind it.
This format combines a slotted angle shelving structure with a raised, walkable deck, using the same bolted, no-weld construction as standard slotted angle shelving but engineered to also support foot traffic and a distributed floor load, typically in the 150 to 300 kg per square metre range, well below a structural mezzanine's capacity.
Because the components are lighter and the connections are bolted rather than fully welded structural steel, this format goes up faster and costs meaningfully less than a full structural mezzanine, at the cost of lower load capacity.
What buyers usually ask.
How is this different from a full structural mezzanine?
A structural mezzanine stands on independent steel columns and carries much heavier loads. A slotted angle mezzanine combines lighter shelving and decking into one structure, suited to hand-loaded storage rather than pallet loads.
Can it carry pallet racking on the level below it?
It is designed to sit above hand-loaded shelving or light storage, not directly above heavy pallet racking. For that combination, a structural mezzanine is the right choice.
How much does it cost compared to a structural mezzanine?
Typically meaningfully less per square metre, since the lighter components and simpler construction reduce both material and installation cost. Exact savings depend on your specific floor load requirement.
