There is rarely a one-size-fits-all answer
Every warehouse has constraints. Column positions, clear heights, floor loads, fire requirements, material handling equipment, SKU profiles and dispatch patterns all shape the eventual solution. Sometimes the answer is high-density pallet racking. Sometimes a mezzanine unlocks an entire additional level of usable space. Sometimes changing aisle widths or material flow creates more value than simply adding storage locations. That is where engineering makes the difference, and it is exactly the thinking we bring to dark store fitouts as much as full distribution centres.
